Anthony very gently started to pull the brambles from her dress, getting on his knees so he could see what he was doing. He didn't even notice as a few thorns stuck in his hand.

A: How did you get stuck?

C: I was just walking, then I heard you I tried to flee, and... I got caught.

He asked, becoming less nervous as he freed her.

He stood, her dress free from thorns.

She took a step away from the brambles, tutting as she saw her damaged dress.

C: No... wait, are there people at the house now?

Her eyes suddenly focused on him sharply.

C: How many of you are there?

Anthony was taken aback by this question.

A: Well, er... I'm just servant... I don't know... There's five in the family and a lot on the working force.

He frowned.

C: You should tell your people to go.

His eyebrows met, frown deepening.

A: Why?

C: My people will not take kindly to intruders. You would be better off leaving this place.

Dot: Anthony? What is it?

Dorothy suddenly called, piercing the spell-binding hush that the girl held Anthony in. Looking up like a startled deer, more animal in that moment than human in her instincts, her eyes narrowed.

C: You should go. Take the girl and go. Make them all leave this place, or I will have to tell my people.

A note of concern sounded in her voice, a kindness in her eye as she looked at Anthony. Her face softened.

C: Please flee while you can.

A: Flee... What?

He looked extremely concerned, was this girl not... human?

A: But... if I go... will I ever see you again?

This concern was forefront, and as his eyes searched her face, he wondered if this would be the first and last time he would ever be able to do so.

He muttered. To be exposed to such beautiful magic and then to be told to leave- he couldn't bear it.

A: You must stay... tell me, what is your name?

C: Camellia - I must go before I am missed, it would only make more trouble for you.

She kept looking over her shoulder.

C: You shouldn't have seen me in the first place. Please, go - and thank you again.

Darting forward, she kissed his cheek then took a step back, smiling though her eyes were wild.

He backed off.

She said, leaning against a tree, one step beyond which would seclude her in darkness.

He held out a hand slowly, as if to take hers.

Camellia took his hand gently, the other tucking her hair behind her ear, revealing them to be slightly pointed.

He took another step back.

Their voices overlapped, creating a desperate cacophony.

Anthony looked from the moonlight shrouded waif to the ordinary girl waiting behind the trees.

A: I should...

He took another step back.

C: Your friend is very pretty.

She whispered as she slid back into the trees.

Nothing else came from the trees. Dorothy came thrashing through the bushes, suddenly appearing very washed out and dull, ordinary by comparison to Camellia.

Dot: What was it, Anthony?

Anthony's gaze swept Dorothy's face, but it did not incite the same wonder and amazement as the elfin girl that had stood before him mere moments ago.

A: A... It was a deer.
