She swallowed hard and lifted her top up and over her head, leaving her flat stomach and under top exposed, brown skin decorated with black floral tattoos, climbing her torso and shoulders. With another gulp, she stepped out of her skirt, her knees bruised and feet scarred from running and tripping in the forest.

Z: Heh.

She laughed awkwardly, quickly tugging on the regulation uniform, and picking up her old clothes from the floor.

Arum kept his eyes on the wall so that he could still see her in his peripheral.

A: Tattoos are not permitted.

He said quietly.

He stood beside her bed, hands behind his back and legs shoulder-width apart. His back was straight, posture starched. He had been trained to stand like that since he entered the army.
